Mr. A.Kachhap, Deputy Adviser ( Social Planning) in the Planning Commission, Government of India had his post graduation in economics from University of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh and M.Sc. in Macro Economic Policy and Planning in Developing Countries, University of Bradford, UK. Since 1991 he has been actively engaged in policy planning and empowerment of the tribals in India. In these years he had published different articles on tribal issues. He has edited on book title Disability, Citizenship and Social Exclusion in collaboration with Dr. Sudhir Singh, Reader in Delhi University. His another book title Impact of National Planning on Tribal Economy is in the process of publication.
